Job Description
The openings are on 1st Shift. The hours for this position are 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. The rate of pay for these positions range from $20.86 – 20.99 hr.
We are looking for employees to set up and operate powered machine shop machines such as surface grinder, vertical milling machines, shaper and machine lathe.
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical
- Frequent long periods of standing.
- Frequent bending and stooping.
- Lifting and carrying heavy weight (50-75 pounds unassisted and 75+ pounds assisted) materials and objects.
- Occasional pursing and pulling of materials or objects.
- Hand/finger dexterity and coordination.
- Non-Physical
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to read and write.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic problems.
- Must possess computer skills.
- Blue Print Reading must be above average.
- Shop Math above average.
- Must demonstrate ability to comply with safe operations (machine guarding, proper operation of machinery for safe operation, etc
- All candidates must pass a drug test (including THC/marijuana/cannabis)
