Job Description
Must pass entry level test required to enter the department. Will be able to read some prints and drawings. Will be able to assemble chassis, subassemblies, and cabinet enclosures with assistance from a Heavy Assembler "A" or a group leader. Will be able to take the Heavy Assembler "A" test after two (2) years of training as a Heavy Assembler "B". The opening is on 2nd Shift and works 4/10's. The hours for this position are 3:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. Monday night - Friday morning. The position would train on 1st Shift is Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Qualifications
A. Physical
1. Frequent long periods of standing
2. Frequent bending and stooping.
3. Lifting and carrying heavy weight (50-75 pounds unassisted and 75+ pounds assisted) materials and objects.
4. Occasional pushing and pulling of materials or objects.
5. Hand/finger dexterity and coordination.
B. Non-Physical
1. High School graduate or equivalent.
2. Ability to read and write.
3. Follow verbal and written instructions.
4. Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.
5. Ability to perform simple arithmetic problems.

Hourly Wage of $23.45 plus .75 cent shift differential The collective bargaining agreement sets the wages indicated.
