Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our team. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures using MIG welding techniques. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements
- Set up welding equipment and select proper welding techniques
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control
- Use power tools and hand tools to clean, deburr, and grind welded surfaces
- Assemble and tack weld parts prior to final welding
- Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a MIG Welder
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting welding symbols
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication and ductwork is preferred
- Ability to solder and assemble metal components
- Knowledge of rigging techniques for moving heavy materials
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of power tools
